味：優しい麦の甘み、グレープフルーツゼスト、甘さを伴うウッディネス、後味は少々スパイシー、柑橘系のオイル、甘さ控えめのべっこう飴、時間の経った白ブドウの皮、微かにハチミツ。後味は、前述のニュアンスが入り混じった複雑で優しい甘み。
総評：素直で麦芽香豊かな酒質のベンリネスが、26年という長期熟成で磨かれ、素朴さが甘さと優しいフルーティなニュアンスに昇華されたと思える一本です。
度数の落ちた長期熟成らしく優しさを感じ、適度に複雑で、長期熟成の意味を改めて認識するのにとても良いボトルです。
派手さや強い個性があるわけではないですが、度数の落ちた長期熟成のベンリネスと言われて、非常に納得のいく香味で、個人的な満足度も高いです。
ごく個人的な感想かもしれませんが、このボトルを飲んだ瞬間、デュワーラトレーのストロナチー(ベンリネス)18年を思い出しました。
味わいのベースに、当時好きだったストロナチー18年との共通項があるのですが、熟成によってベンリネスらしい要素が高い次元で磨かれていると思ったのは、前述のとおりで、正統進化の長期熟成のシングルカスク・カスクストレングスと捉えることができました。
ぜひ、多くの方に飲んでいただきたいですし、ストロナチー18年を飲まれたことがある方には、特に飲んでいただきたいです。

This passion led him to establish Malt Yamazaki, an online retailer specializing in single malt whiskies, in 2013. Furthering his commitment to the spirit, he founded T&T TOYAMA in 2021, pioneering Japan’s first authentic whisky bottler.
